What exactly is fear?
Fear is usually thought of as being afraid or scared but people really don't look at it's meaning in depth. There are two types of fear: Slavish fear and Filial fear.
Lets break it down more.
Slavish means to be a slave to and Filial means befitting a son or daughter.
Slavish fear is the fear you face when your not fearing out of respect because when you fear out of respect your not afraid of it.
Examples: Slavishing how you are going to pay your bills. Slavishing what other people think about you. Slavishing if your going to become a victim of something.
1. Slavish fear- Sad; lack of peace.
Words that fit under slavish include:
Slave
Minimal Servant
Not free
Hopelessly submissive
False
Fawn
Apprehension
Trembling Horror
Frightened
Unstable and Committed; Unholy.
Then we have Filial Fear.
Filial fear is the fear you face when you fear out of respect.
Examples: Filia towards your boss. Filia towards your family. Filia towards God.
2. Filia Fear- Happy; peaceful.
Words that fit under filial fear include:
Son
Daughter
Security
Honor
Awe
Servant of God
Submissive in hope
Enjoyable labor
Mature
Fearfully extreme to an awesome degree.
Holiness, devote, commitment.
